地名由来[edit]
相传有僧人到村中化缘，劝人行善、慈悲为怀，人们由此得以避灾，村名因此而来。[1]
地理环境[edit]
境内高山连绵，全县第三高峰七台山海拔1282米。[1][2][3]
村域土地43994亩，其中山林13036亩，毛竹山6000亩。[1]
天然落差150米，已建小水电站6座。[1]
人口[edit]
全村4个自然村、7个村民小组，290户、931人，以陈、林两姓为主。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]
明清时此地属慈悲都，1946年设慈悲堡，1951年归大干乡管辖。1959年设慈悲大队，1984年改设慈悲村村民委员会，1995年起隶属大干镇。[1]
