仙潭村在大干镇东部，与镇政府隔着一条富屯溪相望，旧称糖铺。[1]
地名由来[edit]
村子过去种甘蔗榨糖，因此称糖铺；又传说有仙人在此种药，“糖”与“潭”同音，于是改称仙潭。[1]
地理环境[edit]
耕地839亩、林地1910.9亩，村域土地合计4257亩。林地以松、杉等经济林为主，另有油茶、果树和茶叶。[1]
主村离316国道仅1公里，鹰厦铁路也经过村境。[2]
人口[edit]
村中有107户，总人口400人，居民基本为闽南籍。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
早先属招仁乡，村中有仙潭宫，1948年称仙潭堡；此后归大干乡、大干镇管辖的经历较多，1984年才成立仙潭村村民委员会，1995年起隶属大干镇。[1]
