历史沿革[edit]

村名寓意此地开村已久。[1]

1976年设洋墩大队，后因重名，1981年改称前洋村。1984年改设前洋村村民委员会，隶属大历乡；1993年撤乡设镇后，归大历镇管辖。[1]

地理环境[edit]

在镇西南，紧挨鹭鹚溪，距镇政府约4公里；面积6.59平方千米，设2个村民小组。[2]
