宝庄村位于元坑镇西北部，村子坐落在宝山脚下，东面接谟武村，北通大干镇，下辖6个村民小组。隔山相对的演山上留有古栈道等遗迹。[1][2][4]

地名由来[edit]

村子位于宝山脚下，村名由此而来。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

解放初此地称潘坊村。因与洋口镇的潘坊村同名，1981年改称宝庄大队；1984年设宝庄村村民委员会，1992年撤乡建镇后隶属元坑镇。[5]

村况[edit]

全村土地总面积22260亩，耕地906亩，山林面积15000亩。村子下辖1个自然村、6个村民小组，据百度百科，户籍人口762人。省道阳甘线穿境而过，与外界交通便利。[1][2][3]

果业是村中的特色经济。[2]

名胜[edit]

演山位于元坑镇境内，与宝庄村隔山相对。山上有一条古栈道，据顺昌县志办所载，为太平天国翼王石达开部将开凿；宋代杨时、朱熹等人也曾到此留下足迹。[4]
