谟武村位于顺昌县城西部，204省道穿村而过，金溪河流经村旁，是元坑镇面积最大的行政村，下辖15个村民小组。村内有宋代朱熹讲学的遗迹，清代的谟布乡农工会旧址也在村中，谟武文苑是村里的文化场所。[1][2][4][5]

地名由来[edit]

村名旧作“漠布”或“谟布”，后改为“谟武”。据博雅地名网，改名出自当时一位县长的提议。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

明清时期此地称谟布村。1933年设谟武乡，属第一区；1951年改属第四区。1958年设谟武大队，归红旗公社；1961年设谟武公社，1966年并入元坑公社。1984年起设谟武村村民委员会，1992年撤乡建镇后隶属元坑镇。[1]

1933年，中国工农红军曾进驻谟武，留有遗址。[2]

教育与书院[edit]

宋代朱熹多次到谟武讲学。后人在村东朱熹讲学之处建起朱子祠，祠的后殿为晦翁书斋，又在村中苍山建苍山书院，以《四书》《五经》和朱熹的《四书集注》授课。[5][4]

清光绪三十一年（1905年），此地设漠布完全小学，是顺昌县乡间最早的完全小学，即今谟武小学的前身。[5]

建筑与文物[edit]

谟布乡农工会旧址为清代建筑，已公布为县级文物保护单位。[3]

谟武文苑旧宅为清代建筑，1990年改建为谟武文苑，内设晦翁书斋、廖刚文化研究会等，陈列有石器时代以来的文物，并存有《谟武村卷》等书稿。[2]

谟口桥为明代建筑，已公布为县级文物保护单位。[3]

谟武基督教堂始建于1921年（民国十年），为中西结合的砖木结构。[2]

非物质文化遗产[edit]

村中有“皇娘茶”和“同顺星”毛边纸两项非物质文化遗产。[4]

荣誉[edit]

2022年10月，谟武村被福建省农业农村厅认定为「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」；2025年11月，谟武村被认定为「福建省第二批省级乡村振兴示范村」。[1]
