历史沿革[edit]
解放前这里叫际下堡，隶属元坑乡；解放初改归陈布乡，划入顺昌第一区。1958年建际下大队，编入红旗公社，1961年才并入元坑公社。1984年起称际下村村民委员会，1992年撤乡设镇，此后归元坑镇。[1]
地名由来[edit]
村庄坐落在际下山脚下，村名由此而来。[1]
村况[edit]
全村总面积8381亩，其中林地6573亩，耕地607亩，总人口467人，设2个村民小组，据博雅地名网所载。福银高速公路连接线从村境穿过，交通便利。[1][2]
建筑与文物[edit]
际下凉亭位于村口，清代建造，光绪二十一年重建，已公布为县级文物保护单位。[2]
荣誉[edit]
2020年11月，际下村上榜「2020年度南平市“绿盈乡村”中级版村庄」名单；同年12月，被确定为「福建省第一批高级版绿盈乡村」；2021年12月，被命名为「2021年度福建省森林村庄」。[1][2]
