道吴村是洋口镇下辖的行政村，距洋口镇区约5公里，是镇内较大的行政村之一。村名原以姓氏称作「吴墩」，后取两个地名各一字，定为今名。全村有13个村民小组。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

民国时此地叫道吴堡，归上洋镇管。1952年改称道吴乡，划入顺昌第六区；1955年又回到洋口第二区。1958年，乡改为道吴大队，并归洋口公社；1984年，大队改设道吴村民委员会，属洋口镇。[1]

经济[edit]

村里以农业为主，种植水稻和果树，并培育林用杉木苗。不少村民常年外出务工，有人在广东从事机绣打带，也有人购置龙马车和的士从事运输。[1]

县政府网站所列的21个农民专业合作社或特色产业基地中，有道吴杉木育苗与油茶种植基地。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2021年11月，福建省爱卫办将道吴村评定为「2021年福建省卫生村」。[1]
