历史沿革[edit]
这里原属南平县大历管区。1949年一度设安下乡，1958年改为安下大队。1964年建西县设立后，村子归其城关公社管辖；建西县撤销后，改属顺昌县大历公社。1975年起隶属建西镇，1984年改设村民委员会。[1][2]
名胜古迹[edit]
殷坑通天大圣祭坛与上安通天大圣祭坛均为明代遗迹，同列为县级文物保护单位。[1]
村中旧有下堂庙，庙前立着一棵百年香樟。横坑自然村后约五里处有座雪峰山，道光元年在山上建成雪山庵。[2]

2023年10月，安下村被收入南平市“绿盈乡村”中级版（2023年度）的村庄名录。[1]
