棋盘社区是福建省南平市顺昌县双溪街道下辖的社区，位于县城南面东段，居委会2000年10月成立，成立之初属水南镇。辖区内有龙山公园、龙山索桥与体育馆，316国道在辖区内通过。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

棋盘居委会成立于2000年10月，当时隶属水南镇。此后原双溪镇与水南镇于2006年4月并为双溪街道办事处，棋盘居委会也改隶街道办事处。[1]

辖区[edit]

社区面积约3平方千米，有1892户、5566人。辖区范围沿城南中路1号至13号一带展开，另包括禾口巷、棋盘厂巷，以及城南东路、白龙泉路与将军弄。[2]

金桥学校、人武部、法院，还有消防大队、交警大队，此外林业局、环保局、文体局、交通局等机构，以及谟武水电有限公司与虹润仪表厂，共计45个企事业单位设在辖区。主街为城南东路与城南中路，住宅区有水岸帝景、怡禾小区与瑞城蝶景湾。[2]
