西瓯浦村在回龙乡的西南角，村子东北方是回龙村，西边紧挨白沙村，南边是均中村。[1]

村子距建阳市区40千米，离乡政府约1.5千米。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村名的来历：村子在建瓯的西边，南面临着南浦溪，遂称西瓯浦。[1]

早年这里是乡办良种场，1976年由马岚公社开办，专门繁育杂交水稻和水稻三系种子。[1]

1992年1月17日，经建阳县人民政府批复（潭政〔1992〕综字012号），良种场改建为回龙乡西瓯浦行政村，地名沿用至今。[1]

2023年12月，村庄被认定为「2023年度福建省一村一品专业村（食用菌）」；2024年1月，获评「2023年福建省卫生村」。[2]

地理环境[edit]

村域面积0.63平方千米（2011年末数据），境内河长约1千米，村内临南浦溪。[2]

经济[edit]

农作物以水稻、烟叶和葡萄为主，村中多养殖三元仔猪。村民多为浙江移民。[2]

名胜古迹[edit]

村子后门的高山中有自然寺，又名岩头庵，林木茂密。传说乾隆南巡时曾游此寺。寺院解放后失修倒塌，文物普查时只找到残碑下段，碑上留有“御笔知命”四字。[2]
