白洋村地处建阳、武夷山和浦城县三地交界处，东邻马岚村，北界浦城县，距回龙乡政府约25千米。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村名的来历有两种说法：一说当地后山形似五虎拔羊，原名拔羊，后因方言里“拔”与“白”相近而改称白洋；另一说村中土质为沙包土，雨后有一层明亮的沙子，故先称白沙洋，后更名白洋。[1][2]

解放前村子属建阳县后畲白洋保。新中国成立后的行政隶属变动频繁：先归建阳县彭墩区，此后经回龙、将口、白洋、马岚几个公社辖管。[2]

1984年改设回龙乡白洋行政村。[2]

地理环境[edit]

村子海拔约670米，属丘陵地形，最高点平坑岗海拔860米。[2]

村中水系多发源于本村，白岭溪、南社溪与麦际溪三条小溪是主要水道，河长约7千米。[2]

经济[edit]

白洋村盛产杨梅和板栗；农作物以水稻、玉米、蔬菜为主，畜牧业以猪和家禽为主。[2]

人口民族[edit]

截至2011年末，村子总面积23.5平方千米，户数295，人口1105，居民全是汉族。[2]

名胜古迹[edit]

南坑自然村有南坑石拱桥，始建于清朝。[2]
