垅下村位于回龙乡的南段。村东靠漳墩镇的杭下村，西侧与均中村为邻，南面连着水吉镇一带，北边则是回龙村。[1]

村子距乡政府约2千米，距205国道约3千米，全村面积14.7平方千米。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村名的来历是村前一垅田有几百亩，取名垄下；后因“垄”与“垅”同音，改写作垅下。[1]

村子从前属水吉县，旧称福建水吉县禾供里，别名乌石社垅下坊（属廿四都）。1956年，村子归回龙乡管辖；1983年改设为垅下村村民委员会。[1][2]

村子四季分明，山林资源丰富，森林覆盖率较高。[2]

经济[edit]

农作物以水稻、烟叶、白莲为主，畜牧业以养猪和家禽为主。[2]

名胜古迹[edit]

下窠自然村有一座千年古建石拱桥，始建于清朝，长约80米，宽约10米。[2]

村内还有靠山寺、灵山寺（也称公皇庵）等寺庙。[2]
