均中村沿南浦溪和205国道而建，北侧紧邻205国道，南面傍着南浦溪，西面与水吉玉瑶村相接。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
村名的来历是最早由龚姓人家开垦定居。民国时期称水吉县玉瑶乡均中堡，新中国成立后改称均中村。[1]
1980年起此地归回龙公社管辖，称均中大队；1984年起设为均中村村民委员会。[1]
2020年11月，村庄上榜「2020年度南平市绿盈乡村中级版村庄」名单；2020年12月，入选「2020年福建省森林村庄」名单；2022年10月，被认定为「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」；2024年1月，获评「2023年福建省卫生村」；2024年6月，列入「福建省第四批高级版绿盈乡村」名单。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
村子中央有福兴寺，建于民国年间，村民多来此烧香礼佛。[2]
文化[edit]
每年春节一早，村民到福兴寺烧香拜佛，并向功德箱捐钱，寺中老人还会奉上一杯冰糖水。[2]
正月初一，家家户户有吃斋的习俗，当天只有男子做事；初一不扫地，初二由外向里扫，寓意聚财。[2]
