历史沿革[edit]
村名的来历是村前一片沙洲，地面平坦，故而得名。[1]
1988年，村重新设为独立的村民委员会。[1]
2024年1月，村庄被命名为「2023年福建省卫生村」。[1]
地理环境[edit]
村子四季分明，雨水充沛，土地肥沃。直坑山的山泉经过滤后接入村里，全村因此用上自来水。[2]
经济[edit]
农作物以水稻、烟叶为主，经济作物有网纹甜瓜。[2]
名胜古迹[edit]
坪州码头始建于清朝，村民借此码头在南浦溪上摆渡。[2]
