历史沿革[edit]
南宋景定元年（1260年）此地称三衢里。民国十七年（1928年）三衢里改称后畲乡。1952年划归彭墩区，1955年复归将口区，1961年归崇雒公社。1984年撤销公社，后畲改设为村，隶属崇雒乡。[2][3]
2016年6月，村庄被列为第五批福建省历史文化名村，又在同年被评为第四批中国传统村落。[1][3]

据百度百科，北宋理学家周敦颐的第十六代孙周肇基迁居此地，此后村民以周姓为主。[1]
