鸿庇村位于小湖镇以东约14.5公里，辖3个自然村。该村原名冯坎，清康熙年间村里建起鸿庇虎猴王神庙，祈求全村得到庇佑，此后改称鸿庇。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

1984年改设鸿庇村村民委员会，沿用至今。1963年，鸿庇公社并入小湖公社，此地改称鸿庇大队；1961年曾设鸿庇公社。[1][2]

1958年以前，此地属建阳县小湖乡之下；1956年由水吉县改归建阳县。1949年设鸿庇乡，归小湖区管辖；1944年建鸿庇保；1940年隶属水吉县下墘乡；1913年为建瓯县禾义里小湖乡。[1][2]
