尹宅村位于小湖镇东南方向约1.5公里，只有1个自然村。村名的来由是昔时尹姓先在此建村，村以姓氏为名。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1984年改设尹宅村村民委员会，沿用至今。1958年为尹宅大队。1956年此地归建阳县小湖乡，更早的1940年属水吉县，1913年则在建瓯县禾义里小湖乡之内。[1]
