秦溪村位于小湖镇以东约24公里，辖4个自然村，村民收入以茶叶生产、种植业和毛竹为主。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
村名的来由是：传说宋代童家有五子，其中一人名秦、字溪，他在本地开辟村落，村名因之而来。[1]
1984年改设秦溪村村民委员会，此前1958年称秦溪大队，1961年曾一度划入另一公社，1963年复归小湖公社。1940年此地属水吉县下墘乡，1956年改属建阳县小湖乡。[1]
荣誉方面，2020年12月入选「2019年度福建省一村一品示范村」（水仙茶）名单，2021年12月被认定为「2021年度南平市绿盈乡村中级版村庄」。[1]
