葛墩村位于小湖镇西南方向约11公里，地处高山，村域最高点海拔849米，森林覆盖率为97%。村内有葛墩、磨林两个自然村。[1][2]

村名的来由是明代有一位葛林在此建村，村口有一座形似龟头的土墩，村因此称葛墩。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

清道光年间此地属建阳县兴贤上里。1923年属偭瑶乡，1949年属徐市区并设葛墩区。[1][2]

1960年划归小湖公社，称葛村大队；1984年改设葛墩村村民委员会，沿用至今。[1][2]

荣誉方面，2019年获评「建阳区三星级美丽乡村」，2020年11月入选「2020年度南平市绿盈乡村中级版村庄」名单，2021年12月确定为「2021年度福建省一村一品示范村」（杨梅），2022年12月被福建省绿化委员会命名为「2022年福建省森林村庄」，2023年2月入选「福建省第三批高级版绿盈乡村」名单。[1][2]

经济[edit]

村民以种植杨梅、锥栗、茶叶、毛竹为主，并依托生态条件发展乡村休闲旅游，设有采摘和农家乐等项目。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

村内朱源寺旁有一株古桔树，名为「朱源寺桔树王」，据考种于清咸丰年间，树高近10米，树根圆周达40公分。[3]
