外源村在漳墩镇北面，距离建阳市区66公里。[1]村名来历是早先此地的人家原住村外，后来并入邻村。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1958年起成立外源大队，至1967年撤销，并入邻村的村委会。1989年才设立外源村村民委员会，沿用至今。[1]

地理环境[edit]

耕地2046亩，茶园310亩；山林面积达12320亩。[1]
