池中村是福建省南平市建阳区水吉镇下辖的行政村，位于镇南部，南浦溪与205国道流经村境。[1][2]村域一带是建窑遗址的所在，遗址2001年列为第五批全国重点文物保护单位。[3]

地名由来[edit]

据博雅地名网，唐代时池氏惠泰在此开基，北宋时当地以烧制瓷器著称。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

清代的村址称户洋社池中坊，归禾义里三十二都管辖。解放前它隶属小湖乡的池中保；1949年后先设池中乡，并入水吉县第一区，之后在1952年10月划给郑墩区，1956年10月又转到建阳县的郑墩区名下。1958年组建为水吉公社的池中大队；1961年一度独立设立池中公社，1963年2月重归水吉公社。1984年才改设池中村村民委员会。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

建窑遗址的部分地点位于池中村一带，与后井村相接。2001年，该遗址被列为第五批全国重点文物保护单位。[3]
