杜潭村是麻沙镇下辖的革命老区行政村，距镇政府约19公里[1][2]。村名的来历：旧时村边有深潭，行人须渡潭而过，原称渡潭，后演变为杜潭[2][3]。

概况[edit]

全村共三个自然村、4个村民小组，有264户，计1016人；村域面积为42.82平方公里[2]。百度百科则称人口约1058人[3]。

麻黄公路横穿村中心。村子离建阳市区55公里，离邵武市区56公里，与武夷山市相距42公里[4]。

村内林地30712亩，木材与毛竹资源丰富[4]。

历史沿革[edit]

宋至清代，杜潭属禾平里，名为杜潭保。新中国成立后设杜潭乡[2]。

1958年，杜潭划归长坪公社，编为杜潭大队；1964年改隶麻沙公社，名称不变；1984年改设杜潭村村民委员会[2]。

荣誉[edit]

2019年12月，杜潭村入选国家林业和草原局公布的第二批国家森林乡村名单；2021年11月，福建省爱卫办把杜潭村列为「2021年福建省卫生村」；2022年10月，杜潭村被认定为「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」；2024年2月，杜潭村被确定为「第二批福建省乡村振兴示范村镇」创建对象[2]。
