扁溪村是麻沙镇下辖的行政村，位于镇域西部，离镇政府约5公里[1][2]。村名原作「偏溪」，因地处近溪之地，后简写为「扁溪」[2]。

村落面积9.6平方公里[2][3]，现有人口近1000人，计246户，辖3个自然村、6个村民小组[2]。水杉路经村而过，距建阳市区40多公里[2]。

历史沿革[edit]

宋至清代，扁溪隶属永忠里，解放前称扁溪保，属麻沙乡[2][3]。新中国成立后先归江坝乡，名为扁溪；1958年划入麻沙公社，设扁溪大队；1984年设立扁溪村[2][3]。村委会设在圳下，所辖的三个自然村是扁溪、圳下、叶坊[2]。

产业[edit]

村中以草莓、红地球葡萄和烤烟为主要产业。草莓1996年自浙江引进，村子因此被称为「闽北草莓第一村」[2][4]。

荣誉[edit]

2020年12月，扁溪村入选「2019年度福建省一村一品示范村」（草莓）名单；扁溪村于2021年11月被评为「2021年福建省卫生村」[2]。
