吕屯村是麻沙镇下辖的革命老区行政村，在建阳市西北方向，距麻沙镇政府约6公里[1][2]。村名的来历是北方移民中的吕氏在此定居，因吕氏成为大姓而得名[2]。

全村总面积11.91平方公里，下设3个自然村和6个村民小组，计190户、770人[2]。村中多为本地居民，另有少数莆田迁入的人家，村民历来以农耕为业[2]。

历史沿革[edit]

明清两代隶属永忠里，民国时叫吕屯保。新中国成立后并入华溪大队，1961年才独立设吕屯大队，1984年起改为村民委员会[2]。
