留田村是麻沙镇下辖的革命老区行政村，离镇政府约3公里[1][2]。据博雅地名网，村名由村口水沟的水流入田中而来，其中「流」字后来改作「留」[2]。

留田村原属吕屯村，为其中一个自然村。1998年4月，建阳县政府批复同意单独设村，辖四个自然村[2]。

概况[edit]

土地面积合计11.35平方公里，计165户661人[2]。村民以种植粮食为主，近年大力发展烤烟[2]。

历史沿革[edit]

解放前，此地为永忠里的留田保。1949年归第五区，设留田乡；1958年并入麻沙公社，成为麻沙大队下属单位；1961年又设留田大队；1984年隶属麻沙镇吕屯村委会；1989年8月才改设麻沙镇留田村村民委员会[2]。

荣誉[edit]

2021年2月，留田村上榜「福建省2018-2020年度省级文明村镇社区」名单；2021年11月，福建省爱卫办把留田村列入「2021年福建省卫生村」；2021年12月，留田村被认定为「2021年度南平市绿盈乡村中级版村庄」，并获「2021年度福建省森林村庄」称号[2]。
