麻沙村是麻沙镇下辖的行政村，位于麻阳溪北岸，是镇人民政府的所在地[1][2]。村名源于宋代此地多种麻[2][3]。

概况[edit]

全村土地约12.49平方公里，下分10个村民小组，共623户、2307人[2][3]。镇内企业较多，村民多经商或就近打工，蔬菜种植与淡水养殖也有一定规模[2]。

历史沿革[edit]

宋至清代，村域属永忠里，民国时设永兴、上兴、中兴三个保[2]。1949年后这里设为麻沙街，既是镇政府驻地，也隶属麻沙公社并称麻沙大队；1984年改设麻沙村村民委员会，沿用至今[2]。

名胜古迹[edit]

村内有灵岩峰，峰上建有灵岩寺，博雅地名网称其为百年古寺，登山须走数百级石阶[2][4]。

荣誉[edit]

福建省爱卫办于2021年11月将麻沙村命名为「2021年福建省卫生村」[2]。
