地名由来[edit]
村名源自村中的社王庙与沙洲式的地形。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
解放后曾设社州乡，此建制到1984年改为社州村村民委员会，沿用至今。[1]
文化[edit]
村中部分村民使用客家话。[1]
经济[edit]
农业以水稻和烤烟种植为主。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
大金山庵原名金山福寺，坐落在魏墩背后的大金山腰，山名又作大同山。始建于明洪武元年（1368年），原有四座庙宇；清康熙十五年（1676年）重建，光绪十一年（1885年）改为现名；文革期间庙宇被全部捣毁。[3]
朱塾陵园即朱熹长子墓，位于大金山脚下、社州村魏墩自然村上方。1992年，一位马来西亚籍朱熹后裔出资修葺墓地，并配人管理。[3]
