徐市镇是福建省南平市建阳区南部的建制镇，东面与建瓯市吉阳镇接壤，南面与顺昌县仁寿镇相连，西面与莒口镇毗邻，北面与潭城街道相接。[1]

镇政府驻徐市村，建阳区人民政府2026年5月公布的行政区划也将徐市社区列于徐市镇。[1][5]镇内的上饶集中营徐市旧址时代为1941至1942年，是县级文物保护单位。[3][6]

历史沿革[edit]

宋元时期，此地称招贤里。明洪武十四年（1381年）改称兴贤里，又分为兴上、兴中、兴下三里。[2][3]

早先此地写作徐墩，民国初年设徐墩乡。因与景贤镇的徐墩村同名，后改称徐市乡。[2][3]

新中国成立后此地先划为第三区。1958年底，此地建起徐市人民公社；公社名称在1966年改为东风，三年后又恢复原名。公社撤销后改设乡级建制，1993年撤乡，设镇至今。[1][2][3]

地理环境[edit]

镇域属山地丘陵地形，地势西南高、东北低。两条溪流在徐市汇合，之后在宸前注入崇阳溪。[2][4]

镇域面积，百度百科载为281.34平方千米，博雅地名网载约253平方公里，两处数字不同。[1][3]

气候属亚热带季风性湿润气候。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

上饶集中营徐市旧址位于徐市村，时代为1941至1942年，被公布为县级文物保护单位。[3][6]

2026年1月，建阳区人民政府公布了该旧址的保护范围：以旧址四周墙基为基点，向四周各延伸5米。[6]

文化[edit]

清代，徐市的书院有招贤书院，另有若干私塾。民国初年始设徐市简易国民小学，1942年升为中心国民学校。[2]

交通[edit]

境内有京台高速公路和303省道通过，多条县道连接邻近乡镇。1997年建成的横南铁路经过徐市。[2]
