历史沿革[edit]
村名旧称石围下，据说因四块大石头相围而得名，后将“围”字改作“维”，遂称石维下。[1]
第二次国内革命战争时期，村中成立苏维埃政府。1929年1月，县内首个特别支部在村内苦竹洋设立，陈顺昌任支部书记。[2]村域长期归回潭管辖，1962年设石维下大队，1984年由大队改为村委会。[1]
地理环境[edit]
村域为丘陵地形，北高南低，平均海拔约420米，最高点蜡烛山约900米。[2]山地开发以毛竹、果树和茶为主，并重点发展高山有机茶。[2]
文化[edit]
石维小学于2005年并入回潭小学。村中设有卫生所一处，另有老年人活动室。[2]
