尤山村是福建省南平市延平区赤门乡下辖的行政村，位于赤门乡东北部，村委会驻尤山。村名的来历与村庄地形和方言读音有关。[1]

名称来历[edit]

据《1993年南平市志·地名志》，村委会驻尤山，村庄地处山凹，东西两侧为高山，俗称「山外有山」，方言读音相近，遂改今名。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村地在明洪武元年（1368年）属金砂里，清代沿用旧制。民国时期，1934年时隶属南平县第四区保福乡；1941年改隶保福乡的尤山保。1954年设尤山乡，1956年改隶太平区的葫山乡，1958年归红星（太平）公社，1961年称尤山大队，1984年改为村民委员会。[1]

村内有碧玉石、透炭石和重晶矿，博雅地名网对其开发情况有所记载。[2]

尤山豆腐是乡内的特色美食之一。[3]

荣誉[edit]

2024年11月，村庄被认定为「2024年度福建省“一村一品”专业村」，所主打的产品为花生。[1]
