前坪村是福建省南平市延平区赤门乡下辖的行政村，村委会驻下庄自然村。村名的来历，据博雅地名网所载，与村为老区分部所在、原上前坪自然村的革命贡献有关；另一说法是村地处太宝山东麓的平地。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村地在明洪武元年（1368年）属保福里，清代仍之。1941年时称下庄保，隶属第三区保福乡；1946年属遵福乡，1949年改称仁庄保；1954年设前坪乡，1961年称前坪大队，1984年改为村民委员会。[1]

人口民族[edit]

2011年，村内有13个村民小组、431户，以汉族为主；辖有前坪、下庄、际头等自然村。[1][2]

名胜古迹[edit]

际头天光山遗址属青铜时代，列入《延平区第三次全国文物普查不可移动文物名录》。[3]

荣誉[edit]

2023年10月，村庄入选「2023年度南平市“绿盈乡村”中级版村庄」名单。[1]
