赤门村是福建省南平市延平区赤门乡下辖的行政村，也是赤门乡人民政府的驻地。村名原为斜门村，后谐音改为赤门。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

据《1993年南平市志·地名志》，村里民房大门多为斜向设置，故称斜门村，后因读音相近改为赤门。[1]

村地在明洪武元年（1368年）属保福里，清代仍之。1941年改称赤门保，1954年划入第九区赤门乡，1961年成为赤门大队，1984年改为村民委员会。[1]

地理环境[edit]

2011年时，村下辖赤门、可坑、白日洋等自然村，设17个村民小组。[1]

经济[edit]

村内有钼矿，博雅地名网称其中部分已在开发，部分仍待勘探。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2023年10月，村庄入选「2023年度南平市“绿盈乡村”中级版村庄」名单。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

赤门鲤鱼山遗址与赤门董公山遗址同在村内，皆属青铜时代遗存，见于《延平区第三次全国文物普查不可移动文物名录》。[3]
