赤门乡是福建省南平市延平区下辖的乡，位于延平区东北部，距南平市区约42公里，乡政府驻赤门村。乡内以第一产业为主，种植水稻、烟叶、蔬菜和水果，境内有太宝山、天光山引水大桥等山水景点。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

乡名取自驻地赤门村，该村原名斜门村，后谐音改称赤门。[8]

宋、元、明、清时这一带称积善乡，宋代属积善乡保福里；民国十八年（1929年）改称保福乡。[1][3]

1950年10月设立赤门乡，1956年划入太平区，1958年归红星（太平）公社。1961年以村名改设赤门人民公社，1984年撤社建乡，乡政府驻赤门村。[1][3][5]

1995年1月撤市设区，赤门乡随之划归延平区。[3]

地理环境[edit]

乡境土地总面积106.91平方千米，属低纬度亚热带海洋性季风气候，年均温约18度，年降水量约1500毫米，无霜期约270天。[1][6]

乡境海拔约280米，兰溪流经境内，曾做梯级开发。[4][6]

人口民族[edit]

2020年11月1日零时，全乡常住人口为3782人，数字出自第七次全国人口普查。[5][6]

经济[edit]

乡内产业以第一产业为主，种植水稻、烟叶、蔬菜与水果，素有「烟稻之乡」的美称。[1]

境内已知的矿产有碧玉石、白云石、方解石、重晶矿、铁矿、铜矿和钼矿等，博雅地名网称其中部分已开采，部分尚在勘探。[4]

文化[edit]

赤门蛋燕是乡里待客的一道风味小吃：用地瓜粉与鸡蛋调成糊，摊成薄皮，卷起切成细丝，再和肉丝、菇丝、胡萝卜丝及白菜、豆芽同炒，加汤调味。因成品粉丝泡发后形似燕窝，故得此名。[2]

此外，乡内的特色美食还有尤山豆腐、象湖花生、赤门泥鳅粉和赤门南江黄羊。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

太宝山海拔1168米，山上有「怪洞」与摩崖石刻，山间另有水月庵、圣灵庙等庙宇。[1][4]

天光山引水大桥高35米，长200米，横跨姐妹双峰；东山水库同为乡内的灵山胜境之一。[1][4]

2012年9月14日，延平区人民政府发出通知，公布《延平区第三次全国文物普查不可移动文物名录》。依该名录，赤门乡有四处青铜时代遗址，即赤门鲤鱼山遗址、赤门董公山遗址、中洋前铺山遗址和际头天光山遗址，另有清代的安前湾陈守彬宅第。[7]

政府网站称，乡内有区级文物保护单位1处、区级非物质文化遗产1项、文物点6处，计数与上述名录未必一致。[1]

博雅地名网称，较完整保存的古迹中，陈公墓、水尾庵、中顺庙，以及吴家、陈家两座祠堂与下庄石孔桥，都已列为乡级重点保护单位；民居则以明清建筑居多。[4]
