王乾村是洋后镇西部的行政村，距镇集镇中心约1.5公里。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

据《1993年南平市志·地名志》，村委会驻地名为王乾，村名为谐音而来。相传古时有山寇妄图称帝，后被擒获，村名由此而得。[1]

明洪武元年（1368年）村址已属遵教里。民国时期村域先隶属第四区（大凤）的遵教乡。1958年编为王乾大队，之后于1961年归洋后公社。1984年改设王乾村委会，1992年洋后乡改制为洋后镇。[1]

地理环境[edit]

村域多山地，土地总面积7773亩，其中山地面积6287亩，毛竹林面积2071亩，资源以毛竹、杉木和油茶为主。[2]

经济[edit]

村民以种植水稻、烟叶和加工毛竹为主要产业，收入多来自毛竹山。[2]
