洋后镇位于福建省南平市延平区东部偏北，地处延平、古田、建瓯三地交界处，东与古田县凤都镇相邻，南接巨口乡、赤门乡，西连南山镇。镇政府驻地在洋后村，镇名由此而来。[2][5]
境内的春仔崖峡谷、三井石林与高山云海是主要自然景观，大禄村设有中共福建省一九四六年党代会旧址。[3]
历史沿革[edit]
宋代这一带属积善乡遵教里，明清两代仍以遵教里为基层单位。[5][6]
民国时期先后隶属第四区（大凤）与第三区（樟湖）的遵教乡，1946年改称遵福乡，属南平县。1950年分设洋后、大演、大禄、后坪等乡，1958年并入大凤飞跃人民公社。1961年9月成立洋后公社，1963年3月改属南平市。[6]
1984年9月乡制重设为洋后乡；1992年12月，建制由乡转为镇。延平于1995年1月撤市设区，洋后镇随之隶属延平区。[1][6]
地理环境[edit]
全镇面积110.77平方千米，森林覆盖率为81.8%。境内四条小溪纵贯全境，博雅地名网载有九座小型水电站。[3][5]
镇境平均海拔290米，气候属亚热带季风型。全年无霜期超过330天，年降雨量为1700毫米，年平均气温达19℃。[5]
原省道309线（又称南古线）横贯全境，镇内设有一个高速公路出入口。[3][5]
人口民族[edit]
据第七次全国人口普查，截至2020年11月1日零时，全镇常住人口为6440人。[1]
居民多为汉族，有少数畲族。大部分村属建瓯语系，个别村属闽中、闽西语系。[5]
经济[edit]
产业以第一产业为主，主要农作物为花生、桔柚、桃子、葡萄和高山茶。[3]
中洋村出产延平花生；后坪村种植桔柚，果树位于海拔600米以上的高山地带；大演村有水蜜桃园；南新村与坑门村设有嘉宝果种植基地。[3]
博雅地名网载，境内矿产有铁和辉绿岩，见于王乾村与中洋村，大演村与良坑村发现有铅锌矿，经勘测品位较好，具有一定储量。[5]
名胜古迹[edit]
博雅地名网称三井一带有“小桂林”之称。镇内的自然景观除三井石林外，还有春仔崖峡谷和高山云海。[3][5]
2014年6月，环境保护部授予洋后镇「2012—2013年度国家级生态乡镇」称号。[3][4]
延平区人民政府2012年公布的第三次全国文物普查不可移动文物名录中，洋后镇登记有洋后牛尾山、南新石后井、中洋芦下坪三处青铜时代遗址，洋后汀广会馆、后坪太宝庙、后坪瑞云堂三处清代建筑，以及后坪森林公约碑一座（清代，区级文物保护单位）。[8]
后坪村的合乡公禁碑年代为清代，博雅地名网称其为县级文物保护单位。[7]
大禄村的「中共福建省一九四六年党代会旧址」，是中共福建省党代会自1946年11月起辗转多地召开，最后秘密迁到遵福乡（今洋后镇）大禄村进行并举行闭幕仪式的地方。这次会议直至1947年1月15日才告终结，前后持续52天，另有“南古瓯会议”之称。[3]
镇内建有纪念41位革命人士的纪念碑，这些人士于1948年为解放事业献出生命。[5]
太保庙与东岳寺两座庙宇均始建于清康熙二十九年（1690年），据博雅地名网所载。[5]
