筠竹村是茫荡镇下辖的行政村，村部位于筠竹坎下，东接安丰村。村名旧称金竹坪，博雅地名网另载因盛产金竹而得名。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

明洪武元年（1368年）此地属新兴里，清代沿袭。1934年归南平县第二区，其时属茂地乡，1943年改入宝茂乡，1949年列入第六区，1956年划入王台区。[1][4]

1958年并入「绿色金库（王台）人民公社」；1961年，王台公社把它划出，改属茂地公社，称筠竹大队；到1980年才撤公社设乡，改名筠竹村；2002年撤销茂地镇与大洋乡后，属茫荡镇。[1][4]

文化遗产[edit]

岩头堡址为宋代遗址，2012年延平区不可移动文物名录列为区级文物保护单位。同批名录还收有「筠竹石佛山摩崖石刻」（宋至元代）、筠竹下瓦桥（清代）和筠竹王堂选墓（民国）。[3]

博雅地名网记村内有三千八百坎古道与石佛山森林公园，古道的沿革见茫荡镇条目。[2]
