宝珠村是茫荡镇下辖的行政村，村委会驻宝珠。村名据1993年《南平市志·地名志》，传说山中有神龟，故名。该村是国家级传统村落。[1][3]

历史沿革[edit]

明洪武元年（1368年）属梅岐西里；顺治十四年（1657年）改隶梅西里，当时名为宝龟山。1934年设宝珠乡，隶南平县第二区，1943年改编入宝茂乡。[1]

1961年由王台公社分出，改称宝珠大队，归茂地公社；1984年改设茂地乡宝珠村委会；2002年撤销茂地镇与大洋乡后，本村属茫荡镇。[1]

文化遗产[edit]

宝珠长桥为清代建造的石桥，在2012年名录中被定为区级文物保护单位。同批名录另收宝珠卢氏宗祠、宝珠越王亭、宝珠接龙桥、宝珠凌云桥和宝珠古井，皆为清代遗存。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2014年11月，宝珠村被列入第三批「中国传统村落」名录；2020年11月，上榜南平市「绿盈乡村」中级版村庄名单；同年12月，入选2020年福建省森林村庄名单；2021年11月，福建省爱卫办授予宝珠村「2021年福建省卫生村」称号。[1]
