石伏村隶属延平区塔前镇，位于金鸡山山麓，三面皆是悬崖峭壁，村名由此而来。2017年8月，石伏村列入福建省第二批省级传统村落名录。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

明洪武元年（1368）此地隶大源内里，清代沿袭旧制。1929年划入第五区，1940年属第一区，1941年改隶白塔乡的淡竹保。1949年隶第五区石城乡，1956年改属西芹区，1958年并入火车头（西芹）公社。1961年归土堡公社，1984年改属塔前乡，1993年改属塔前镇。[1]

村内有石膏、铁矾土、芒硝等矿产资源。村民种植山药、干梅子、栗子、榴梿和蕹菜等。[1]
