菖上村隶属延平区塔前镇，位于延平区西南端，与尤溪、沙县交界。村址地势较高，周围生长菖蒲，村名由此而来。村内有菖上古堡旅游景区，并出过革命先烈余维新。[1][2][3][4]

历史沿革[edit]

明洪武元年（1368）此地隶云盖里，清顺治十四年（1657）改隶大内里。1934年设菖上乡，属第五区；1941年改属第一区，仍称菖上乡；1946年并入菖白乡。1950年属第四区，1954年划入第十区，1958年归夏道公社。1961年改归土堡公社，1984年设土堡乡，1989年起隶塔前乡，1993年改属塔前镇。[1]

革命遗址[edit]

1939年8月，余维新受党组织派遣返回菖蒲洋开展地下工作，发展党员后，于1940年5月22日在下场成立菖蒲洋党支部。2012年名录收录的「下场南平县农村第一支部旧址」（1940年）即在本村。[2][3]

「余维新烈士墓」为民国时期建造，列为区级文物保护单位；村中另有「余维新旧居」。[2][3]

文化与旅游[edit]

菖上古堡旅游景区位于本村，村庄海拔较高，平均海拔为750米，村内发展了特色民宿和农家乐。[1][2]

荣誉[edit]

2017年8月，菖上村列入福建省第二批省级传统村落名录。2019年6月，菖上村列入第五批「中国传统村落」名录。2019年12月，菖上村入选第二批「国家森林乡村」名单。2020年11月，菖上村上榜2020年度南平市「绿盈乡村」中级版村庄名单。2024年6月，菖上村上榜福建省第四批高级版「绿盈乡村」名单。[1]

著名人物[edit]

余维新（1915年至1943年），生于菖蒲洋，即今菖上村。他于1937年入党，1942年在尤溪县九都被捕，1943年5月12日在被关押期间牺牲。[4]
