沙舟坑村位于塔前镇西北部，北与西芹镇交界，东与夏道镇交界，村庄坐落在延平区第三高山米山的山脚下。村名原作杉州坑，因早年山上多杉木，后按方言谐音改为今名。[1]
自然环境与产业[edit]
村内有两条小溪，并有两座高约80米的瀑布。福银高速与南平至尤溪的县道穿村而过。村民以水稻、食用菌、毛竹和果树为主要生产，外出务工是收入的主要来源之一。[2]
历史沿革[edit]
明洪武元年（1368）此地隶大源外里，清代仍旧。1929年后属第五区，1934年改属第五区的南洲乡，1941年归南洲乡沙叠保，1943年改隶洋洲乡。1949年后随区划调整，1952年并入第十区，1958年归火车头（西芹）公社，1961年改属南洲公社，1963年改设土堡公社辖。1984年设土堡乡，1989年隶塔前乡，1993年改属塔前镇。[1]

2023年10月，沙舟坑村入选2023年度南平市「绿盈乡村」中级版村庄名单。[1]
