塔前村隶属延平区塔前镇，属镇中心区的村庄。村委会驻塔前，村名由此而来，明代村中建有白石塔。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

明洪武元年（1368）此地划入大源内里，清朝沿袭未变。民国时期村地几经调整，先后划归第五区、第一区白塔乡与菖白乡。1949年后又随区划变动，1952年改隶第十区，1956年并入西芹区。1958年以后归火车头（西芹）人民公社，1961年改归土堡公社；1984年公社撤销后设土堡乡，1989年起隶塔前乡，1993年撤乡建镇时改属塔前镇。[1]
