杉岭村在延平区西南隅，村界一侧与三明市尤溪县的西滨镇相接，离太平集镇约23公里。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

早在1934年，本村隶属南平县第三区的太平乡。1941年改属第一区湄洋乡，当时叫西山保；1950年划入第九区西后乡。1958年称杉岭大队，1984年才设杉岭村村民委员会，1992年定为太平镇的一部分。[1]

地理环境[edit]

村境海拔约500米，全村有6个自然村。境内的大峰山海拔1103米，山上有自然景观，还有一座千年古寺庙。[1]
