杨厝村位于太平镇西南部，距镇驻地约8千米。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

村名来自杨氏祖先在此开基定居，行政村名也由同名的杨厝自然村得来。[1][2]

明洪武元年（1368）此地属杜溪里。1958年本地称杨厝大队，1961年转归杨曾公社，两年后杨曾公社并回太平公社。1984年改设杨厝村村民委员会，1992年太平乡升为太平镇。[1][2]

人口民族[edit]

2013年末，全村共有406户、1579人，以汉族为主，另有8个少数民族共14人。[2]

地理环境[edit]

2011年末，村辖杨厝、陈厝、后洋3个自然村，下设8个村民小组，海拔251米。[2]
