际洋村位于闽江北岸，距太平镇政府17公里，距南平市区55公里。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村委会设在际洋，村址处于水漈头上方。村名原为际头，1980年改为今名。[1]

1958年称际头大队，1980年改为际洋大队，1984年改为际洋村村民委员会，1992年随太平乡改为太平镇。[1]

地理环境[edit]

村辖3个自然村，共有6个村民小组。村里以林业和果业为主要产业，并有水稻种植试验。[2]
