埂尾村是延平区王台镇下辖的行政村，位于镇域北部，距集镇约14公里，村后的山称凤凰山。村名的来历：村子建在山间垄田一侧小土堤的下方，因此得名。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1657年（清顺治十四年）此地属安福里。1934年设埂尾乡，隶属第七区，1941年改称埂尾保，属第二区。此后经建江乡、第六区等建制，1958年改称埂尾大队。1984年后归王台乡，1991年改属王台镇。[1]

经济[edit]

村内森林茂密，土壤肥沃。博雅地名网称该村为柑桔之村，村里还有一处垂钓休闲中心和一片蔬菜基地。[1]
