九坍村是延平区王台镇下辖的行政村，位于镇域北部，距集镇约9公里。村名据博雅地名网所载，因村周围山脉连绵，形如九峰。另一说法称，村前牛坋田中有九个土墩，形如网坠，故名九坍。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1657年（清顺治十四年）此地属资福里。1936年称九坍保，归埂尾乡管辖；民国末年经建江乡，1950年代初设九坍乡，后并入高埠乡。1958年划入绿色金库（王台）人民公社，此后隶属又有调整。1984年后归王台乡，1991年改属王台镇。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

立雪堂由游氏后裔为纪念开基祖游率浦而建，属清代建筑。村内另有九坍廊桥，同为清代建筑。[1][3]

九坍桥横跨溪上，是古时通往顺昌、邵武及江西的古官道之一。[2]
