新坑村是延平区王台镇下辖的行政村，位于镇域西南部，距集镇约8.5公里。博雅地名网称它是全镇最大的百合基地村，村民收入以种植业为主。村名的来历：昔日村中新开了一条水渠。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1657年（清顺治十四年）此地属太平里；1936年划入溪后乡，称新坑保；1946年归台溪镇井窠乡；1958年称井窠大队；1961年设新坑大队，1963年回归王台公社；1984年改属王台乡，1991年改属王台镇。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

百合文苑位于新坑村，利用废弃小学的原有结构和周边环境改建，内设百合文化展示厅和百合文化教育科普室，并开办了带有民国风格的民宿。[2]

文化[edit]

2024年1月，新坑村获「2023年福建省卫生村」称号。该村于2022年12月被福建省农业农村厅认定为「2022年度福建省一村一品专业村」，产品为百合花。[1]
