姜口村是延平区王台镇下辖的行政村，位于镇域西南部，距集镇约3.5公里，交通便利。村名原作「江口」，因村子位于王台溪支流的出口，后取谐音改为今名。境内的上夹山和莲花山颇具名气。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

1657年（清顺治十四年）此地属天竺里。1941年归台下保，1950年至1957年属王台镇并称姜口村，1958年改称姜口大队，1984年划入王台乡，1991年随王台改为镇建制。[1]

文化[edit]

村子在1991年获得市级文明村的评定，次年进入闽北村星的行列。2006年和2009年，市委、市政府又先后授予它第九届、第十届市级文明村镇的荣誉。[2]

2024年1月，姜口村获「2023年福建省卫生村」称号。2020年11月，该村入选「2020年度南平市绿盈乡村中级版村庄」名单。[1]
