吴坍村是延平区王台镇下辖的行政村，位于镇域北部，距镇所在地约4公里，村内有汉族和畲族居民。村名的来历：此地先由吴姓定居，起名吴地，后来写作吴坍。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1657年（清顺治十四年）此地属太平里。1936年归埂尾乡管辖，称吴坍保；1961年设吴坍大队，1991年改属王台镇。[1]

革命旧址[edit]

1933年8月，红军第三军团来到王台一带，吴坍村随即设立苏维埃政府，旧址在邹坍自然村。肖东树曾担任「中华苏维埃共和国南平吴坍革命委员会」的主席。[2]

文化[edit]

1988年，村子被定为老区村。[2]
