王台镇是南平市延平区西部的一个镇，地处富屯溪边，距延平城区约30公里。316国道经过镇域，延顺高速在此设有出入口。全镇以农业和林业为主要基础，百合鲜切花是重要产业，镇内也保留着王台谈判旧址、东方军旧址等革命遗存。[1][4]

历史沿革[edit]

镇名的来历，据博雅地名网所载，是五代闽越王曾在此地筑台，故称王台。[4]

宋时此地隶属上阳乡，并设王台站；明代分入太平、资福、安福三里，站改为驿；清朝沿用明制，设铺。[3]

民国时期此地多次改属，1939年设王台乡，1943年改为王台镇，1946年称台溪镇。新中国成立后，此地又先后设区、设公社；1984年一度改为乡建制，1991年底恢复镇建制，镇机关设在王台村。1995年初南平撤市设区，王台镇归延平区管辖。[3]

1933年8月，东方军进驻王台。同年9月23日，彭德怀、滕代远会见国民党第十九路军的陈公培，会谈地点在八角楼，此次会谈史称「王台谈判」。[1]

2018年，福建省政府将王台的一组革命旧址列为省级文物保护单位，其中有八角楼、珠宝庵、上溪口的苏维埃革命委员会旧址，以及黄氏宗祠内的野战医院旧址。[1]

地理环境[edit]

据2026年6月镇政府网站介绍，全镇镇域面积221.1平方千米，耕地约2万亩，林地约28.9万亩。镇政府网站以「绿色金库」「闽北粮仓」概括全镇的地位。[1]

博雅地名网称，省内规模最大的编组站来舟站距镇约1.5公里，京福高速公路的长沙和青州接线口距镇约18公里，集镇通往各行政村的道路已基本硬化。[2]

据2026年6月镇政府网站介绍，全镇常住人口约1.6万人。[1]

经济[edit]

百合是全镇的主要产业。南平市的市花即是百合，市内百合鲜切花大多种在王台，常见品种有索邦、西伯利亚、罗宾娜、木门和黄天霸，产品销往广州、上海、北京等地，也远及新加坡。[1]

2017年12月，王台镇进入福建省第二批特色小镇创建名单，名称为「延平王台百合小镇」，主要围绕百合花卉产业发展乡村旅游和生鲜冷链物流。[1]

2020年12月，王台镇列入「2020年福建省森林城镇」名单。[4]

2021年2月，王台镇入选「福建省2018-2020年度省级文明村镇社区」名单；2021年4月，镇里获评「2020年度福建省乡村振兴重点特色乡（镇）」。[4]

王台镇于2024年1月获「2023年福建省卫生乡镇」称号。[4]

2025年12月，王台镇获评「美丽中国·深呼吸乡镇」。[1]

2018年10月，王台镇被国家标准化管理委员会列入第三批新型城镇化标准化试点项目单位，全国15个单位中福建占2个。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

八角楼位于镇中心，前身为魁星阁，1892年落成。这是一座三层楼，二、三层屋顶为八角攒尖式样，因此俗称八角楼。1982年，八角楼被定为南平市文物保护单位；2012年，又被列为福建省党史爱国主义教育基地。[1][4]

安槽下杉木丰产林的插条栽植始于1919年春，溪后村的三名青年以插条法种下这片林子，初植时每亩240株。上世纪五十年代初，福建省林业厅测定其每亩蓄积量为78.9立方米，记载称居全国之首。2008年复测时，林业站测得现有面积为2.85公顷。[1]

东方军在王台设立野战医院，救治红军伤病员，旧址为王台黄氏宗祠。据镇政府网站，该宗祠为明万历十七年（1589年）所建。东方军哨所设在心安寺，寺的创建可追溯到明永乐年间（1403—1424年）。[1]

越王台始建于西汉，相传为闽越王无诸出巡时所筑的行台，王台的名称也与之相关。因沙溪口水电站建设，原址被淹没，1991年迁址重建。[1]

延平区党性教育实践基地设于王台中心幼儿园旧址内。[1]

延平区第三次全国文物普查登记的王台镇不可移动文物中，有青铜时代遗址四处，其中新村圆圆山遗址在王台村，上溪口的公林场、罗干山、作埠甲山三处遗址在上溪口村；另有清代宗祠、宅第、桥梁若干。[5]

著名人物[edit]

吴东槐（1853～1904），号植庭，南平县王台乡人，曾是清末闽北地区知名的画家，以山水、人物画见长，也擅画虫鱼。[4]

林乐义（1916～1988），南平县王台人，民国22年（1933年）入上海沪江大学建筑系，民国26年（1937年）获工学士学位，此后在桂林从事建筑工程。[4]

游元贞（1900～1951），别名鲁诣，南平县王台镇人，毕业于福建法政学院，之后在国民党南平县党部任执行委员，并任福建省议会议员。[4]

章荣生（1914～1983），溪后村人，1933年8月东方军驻王台时报名参加红军，随后跟随部队到了江西根据地。[4]
